We believe that craft disciplines are fundamental to the creation of film and television. Together they shape the visual language of a production, defining the world of the story, character, period, culture and tone – contributing directly to the audience’s experience of the work.
Becoming a member of Screen Craft Guild Cymru means joining a growing community of designers, artists, craftspeople and allies helping to shape how craft is recognised and valued.
Whether you’re working in film and television, education, the wider creative industries, retired from the sector, emerging into it, or simply passionate about screen craft and the people behind it – we'd love to welcome you into the Guild.

In its first year, the Guild is focused on connection, visibility and shared purpose, creating opportunities for people to meet, collaborate and build stronger relationships across departments.
At the heart of this sits the Ember Awards, a new platform celebrating excellence in screen craft. Members can submit their work, take part in voting and be part of a standout moment in the calendar that recognises and elevates the craft disciplines.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES
Our membership fees are designed to be affordable and accessible to craftspeople at all levels. For full details of membership benefits, see the T&Cs below.
Membership is offered across three tiers. Please choose the level that best reflects your current role and experience.
Full Voting Membership
For those working at a senior level, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, 3+ in a named or lead creative role.
£50
Associate Membership
For those with a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience working within film, television, education, the wider creative industries or related sectors who wish to support and engage with the Guild’s mission to champion screen craft in Wales.

Emerging Membership
For students, trainees and those at an early stage of their career.
