PARTNERSHIPS
Partner with Screen Craft Guild Cymru
Screen Craft Guild Cymru is inviting founding partners to support the Guild’s launch year and the inaugural Ember Awards, helping us build a new platform for screen craft recognition in Wales.
We are a not-for-profit, industry-led organisation representing and championing production design, costume design, and hair and make-up in Wales. Our work is built around three core priorities: Recognition, Community and Education.
In our first year, partnership support will help us deliver the inaugural Ember Awards, grow our member activity, support emerging talent and create a sustainable platform for the screen craft disciplines that shape what audiences see on screen.

PARTNER WITH THE EMBER AWARDS
The Ember Awards are the Guild’s flagship annual platform for recognising excellence in screen craft across production design, costume design, and hair and make-up.
The inaugural Ember Awards will take place on Sunday 27 September 2026 at a prestigious venue in Cardiff.
We are currently speaking with founding partners who would like to support the Awards, connect with the Welsh screen craft community and help shape what comes next.
Partnerships can be shaped around the level and type of support that feels right for each organisation.
PARTNER WITH THE EMBER AWARDS
Lead Partner
A Lead Partnership offers prominent association with Screen Craft Guild Cymru’s launch year and the inaugural Ember Awards.
Lead Partners receive high-level recognition across key Guild and Awards communications, with prominent visibility at the ceremony and in event materials.
This opportunity is suited to organisations who wish to be closely aligned with the Guild’s founding year and support the long-term visibility of screen craft in Wales.
Major Category Partner
Major Category Partnerships offer association with one of the Guild’s flagship Ember Award categories.
This is a meaningful way to support excellence in production design, costume design, hair and make-up, or the Ember Award for Craft Ally.
Major Category Partners are recognised in connection with their supported category, including across relevant Awards communications, event materials and the ceremony itself.
Short Form Category Partner
Short Form Category Partnerships support the Guild’s Short Form awards across production design, costume design, and hair and make-up.
These partnerships are especially aligned with emerging talent, independent filmmaking, new voices and short form work made in Wales or by Welsh filmmakers.
Short Form Category Partners help us celebrate the craft achievement within shorter works, where creativity, resourcefulness and ambition often shine.
Supporting Partner
Supporting Partnerships are for organisations, businesses or individuals who would like to support the Guild in a more flexible way.
This may include financial support at a level that feels right, or in-kind support that helps us deliver the Awards and wider Guild activity.
We welcome conversations around practical support such as printing, event production, photography, venue support, hospitality, drinks reception support, AV, design services, travel, accommodation, nominee gifts or other useful contributions.
WHAT YOUR SUPPORT MAKES POSSIBLE
Your support helps us deliver the Guild’s three primary goals:
Recognition
Supporting the inaugural Ember Awards, fairer recognition for production design, costume, and hair and make-up, and greater visibility for the craftspeople whose work shapes what audiences see on screen.
Community
Helping us create events, connections and shared spaces for screen craft professionals, production partners and the wider Welsh screen industry.
Education
Supporting emerging talent, professional development, access opportunities and activity that helps create clearer pathways into screen craft careers.
