MISSION
Screen craft disciplines are central to how stories are realised on screen. They shape the visual language of film and television, contributing directly to tone, authenticity and audience experience.
The Guild exists to ensure that the designers behind the magic are recognised, supported and celebrated.
OUR GOALS

Recognition: To establish a lasting, industry-led platform that champions the craft of screen design in Wales, ensuring its continued visibility, recognition and development for future generations.

Community: To strengthen the connection between industry, community and the public, fostering greater understanding, respect, and appreciation of the craft disciplines that shape screen storytelling.

Education: To create meaningful pathways for emerging talent – supporting future screen designers, artists and departmental crew to become informed, involved and embraced within a collaborative and inclusive creative community.

Hayley Nebauer
Costume Designer
Having worked across film and television in the UK and internationally for 25 years, Hayley is committed to championing the talent within Wales.
She has led ambitious, collaborative initiatives, including during her time at the V&A Museum.
She brings strategic vision and leadership to the Guild, driving its formation and building partnerships to support its long-term growth.

Claire Pritchard
Make-up & Hair Designer
Claire is a multi Bafta Cymru award winner and has achieved recognition at the Makeup Artists & Hairstylist Guild in LA for her work as a hair & makeup designer across high end television and feature film.
She brings a clear, grounded perspective and a strong commitment to representation and collaboration, helping to shape the Guild with confidence and integrity.

Ray Holman
Costume Designer
Ray Holman is a BAFTA-winning, highly respected costume designer with extensive experience across major film and television productions in the UK and internationally.
He brings significant industry insight and connectivity, supporting engagement across the wider screen sector and strengthening the Guild’s industry presence.

Samantha Jay Cliff
Production Designer
Samantha Jay Cliff is a production designer and art director with extensive experience across television drama and design-led productions.
She brings clarity of thinking and a confident, solutions-driven approach to shaping the structure and delivery of the Ember Awards.

Lindsay Bonaccorsi
Costume Designer
Lindsay Bonnacorsi is a BAFTA Cymru award-winning costume designer with over 20 years’ experience across television drama, film, and emerging talent initiatives.
She brings a strong commitment to education and mentorship, helping to create pathways for the next generation of screen designers

Jayne Gregory
Agent, Costume Designer
Jayne Gregory is an established agent representing leading creative talent within the film and television industry. Prior to founding GEMS, she worked for over 20 years as a stylist and costume designer, bringing a deep, practical understanding of the industry from both creative and representation perspectives.
She brings a people-focused approach and extensive industry knowledge, supporting the development, engagement, and growth of the Guild.

Joseph Wynne
Art Director
Joseph Wynne is an Art Director working across television, film and commercial production.
Based in Wales, he brings a practical understanding of visual storytelling, art department collaboration and design delivery.
As Secretary of Screen Craft Guild Cymru, Joseph supports the Guild’s organisation, communication and governance, helping to build a clear, connected and visible screen craft community in Wales.

Helen Rodgers
Helen Rodgers is a Costume Supervisor with over a decade of experience across film and television, having held roles ranging from Stunt Wardrobe Mistress to Costume Coordinator.
She combines her logistical expertise with a practical, hands-on approach to our budgeting. Helen is passionate about our shared potential, and she is dedicated to fostering a culture where members share essential skills and knowledge that extend beyond our traditional craft.

Stephen Nicholas
Production Designer
Stephen Nicholas is an experienced production designer with a strong track record across film and television for more than 30 years, working on a wide range of high-profile productions in the UK and internationally.

Catrin Lewis Defis
Producer
Catrin Lewis Defis is an award-winning Welsh producer with over 30 years’ experience across high-end television and film. She has been actively involved in BAFTA Cymru at committee level and is widely respected for her leadership within the Welsh screen industry, alongside her commitment to inclusivity, the visibility of Welsh talent, and the promotion of the Welsh language.
She brings a thoughtful and principled approach to the Guild, with a strong focus on representation, industry integrity, and supporting a connected and inclusive creative community.
